Use Eevo in Slack
Add Eevo to a Slack workspace, ask it in threads, and keep the decisions in your log.
Eevo in Slack is a Slack app any workspace can install. Mention @Eevo in a thread with a decision, or message it directly, and it frames the options and the people they affect, weighs them with Eevo, and answers for each side, with the result card and a link to the decision in the console. You decide; it informs.
Install and connect
- On Connect in the console, choose Slack and click Add to Slack; approve the permissions in Slack.
- You land back in the console. Pick the Eevo account the workspace's decisions are billed to: your own, or an organization you are an admin of.
- Everyone in the workspace can now ask Eevo. Decisions appear in that account's decision log with who asked (
on_behalf_of), and are shared with the organization.
A member can link their own Eevo account with Link my Eevo account under any answer: from then on their questions are billed to their account and the decisions are theirs. Admins see and disconnect workspaces on Settings → Slack, where they can also make Eevo show the framed decision with a Run button before it spends credit.
Asking
- Mention
@Eevoin a thread: it reads the thread, frames the decision it finds (options, stakeholders, consequences from each side), runs it, and answers. - Reply in the thread with what it missed (a stakeholder, an option, a figure) and it weighs the decision again as a revision.
- Ask what a result means, and it answers in words. Once you have decided, click Report what you chose: the outcome is recorded on the decision.
- Attach a PDF or a text file to the message and Eevo reads it when it matters.
Billing
Decisions are billed like any other, per input token. The assistant's own answers are billed by the tokens it reads and writes (Models, pricing and limits), from the same credit and free allowance.
What Eevo keeps
Eevo reads only the threads it is mentioned in and the messages sent to it, to answer. It keeps a message only until it is answered, at most 7 days, and a summary of each decision it made in a thread for 30 days; the decisions themselves follow the account's retention. It never uses what it reads in Slack to improve Eevo. Its answers can be wrong: check what matters before you act.
